Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026
Zelos Systems (“Zelos”, “we”, “us”) builds bespoke software platforms for businesses. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We keep it deliberately plain-English.
1. Who we are
Zelos Systems is a trading name of Zelos System Services Ltd, a UK software studio. For the purposes of UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Zelos System Services Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What we collect
- Enquiry details you send us. If you contact us through the form on this site or by email, we receive the details you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, industry and your message.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability purposes.
This website does not use advertising trackers, and does not set cookies for analytics or marketing.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss your project — our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to a business enquiry you initiated) or, where applicable, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
- To keep the website secure and available (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Third parties
- Email. Enquiries are delivered to and stored in our business email service.
- Hosting. This website is served by our hosting provider, which processes technical logs on our behalf.
- Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts; when the page loads, your browser requests those files from Google's servers, which involves your IP address being sent to Google. See Google's privacy policy for details.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any business relationship that follows, then delete or archive it. Server logs are retained on our provider's standard rotation.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email luke@zelos.services — we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
7. Client project data
Data we process inside client platforms we build and operate (for example, inspection and compliance records) is handled under separate written agreements with each client, not under this website policy. In those engagements the client is typically the data controller and Zelos the processor.
8. Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged clearly.
